When a flooring project is working to a tight programme, traditional screed drying times can create unnecessary delays. ARDEX A 38 MIX is a pre-blended, ultra-rapid drying screed designed to help contractors prepare floors faster and move on to the next stage sooner.
Suitable for internal and external applications, ARDEX A 38 MIX provides a convenient fast-track solution for a wide range of flooring projects.
A Rapid Drying Screed for Faster Projects
ARDEX A 38 MIX is pre-blended with graded sand, making preparation straightforward. Simply add water to produce a consistent screed mix without the need to source and mix separate aggregates on site.
Speed is one of its biggest advantages. The screed is walkable after approximately three hours, while tiles can be installed after just four hours.
Resilient floorcoverings can be installed after approximately 48 hours, helping contractors significantly reduce waiting times between stages of an installation.
Strong Performance in Just One Day
ARDEX A 38 MIX doesn’t just dry quickly. After only one day, it achieves the acceptable minimum compressive and tensile bending strengths that an ordinary cement screed would typically achieve after 28 days.
This combination of rapid drying and early strength makes it particularly useful where project schedules are tight.
Suitable for Internal, External and Wet Areas
The versatility of ARDEX A 38 MIX makes it suitable for a broad range of applications.
It can be used in internal and external areas, as well as wet and submerged environments such as showers and swimming pools. The pre-blended formulation can also be particularly useful when working in areas where site access is limited.
Keep Flooring Projects on Schedule
From refurbishment work to larger commercial installations, reducing screed drying times can help keep an entire project moving.
With rapid drying, early strength and a convenient pre-blended formulation, ARDEX A 38 MIX provides contractors with an efficient solution when a fast turnaround is required.
