ARDEX Ireland were delighted to work alongside the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Ireland’s largest sporting organisation, for the refurbishment of their headquarters in Abbottstown.
The contactor for this revamp was S&K Carey from Waterford and the Architect was SSA Architects. 
The ARDEX products used in this renovation are listed below:
ARDEX MVS 95: This protects the final floorcovering from residual construction moisture, ensuring fast track flooring installations. ARDEX MVS 95 is ideal for use in new construction or refurbishment projects where a structural damp proof membrane is present and the relative humidity of the floor does not exceed 95% RH.
ARDEX K39: This high flow, levelling and smoothing compound provides extended workability. This market leading product has a workable wet edge of up to 40 minutes. With its extended wet edge, fresh applications of ARDEX K 39 can be easily smoothed into existing pre-applied material for up to 40 minutes after application, making it ideal for complicated areas, adjoining rooms and large areas where pumping is required. Furthermore, the use of ARDEX K 39 eliminates the need to ‘rub down’ any surfaces.
